Mono/Swollen Glands/Fever/Walk in Clinic Orlando Windermere

A 20 year old patient was seen in our Urgent Care Walk in Clinic in Orlando for the complains of fever, swollen glands, sore throat, difficulty to swallow and felt like her throat closing. Patient has swollen neck and is extremely fatigued. The patient was examined by Dr. Jain and ordered the strep test which was negative. The patient had blood drawn to check for mono which was positive. The patient was treated with the steroid injection and was given supportive treatment. The  patient responded well to the treatment and felt better.
