Dislocation of the Right Shoulder

We saw a patient few weeks ago who came into the Medical Clinic with a pain in the shoulder after diving into the pool. Patient was in extreme pain. An initial x-ray showed a dislocation of the shoulder.

The patient was given an injection of pain medicine and the dislocation was reduced. Patient instantly felt better and an x-ray confirmed the reduction of the shoulder. The patient immediately felt better.

Patient was given an arm sling and went home feeling much better.
