Dr. Usha Jain is an expert and board certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Jain has worked at trauma center, ORMC in Orlando before opening her emergency center.
Dr. Jain opened emergency center 31 years ago and has been serving the community of Dr. Phillips and Windermere area.
The patient wife came to the emergency center and complained that her husband’s both knees are swollen and filled with the fluid due to extra exertion. The patient is known to have bursitis and fluid in the joint in past several years. The patient did not fall and did not injure it that way.
Dr. Jain could not help the patient as the patient could not get up from the bed because both knees were swollen. Since Dr. Jain was familiar with his condition and there was no other problems, Dr. Jain made the decision to help the patient and drained his knee at his house after getting the blood drawn. The patient was tested for CBC, chemistry profile, RA, ANA, Uric acid and vitamin deficiencies.
Dr. Jain aspirated the yellow colored serous fluid and the pateitn had an immediate relief.
Dr. Jain drained 130 cc of the fluid from the right knee. and about 60 cc from the left knee. The patient felt immediate relief.
The patient’s blood tests were unremarkable.
