A 35 year old patient was seen in the Walk in Clinic for the complaints of fever and body ache. The patient recently travelled to India about one week ago. The patient also had slight cough. Dr. Jain examined the patient and ordered the blood tests and chest x ray which was normal. Dr. Jain orderd Smear for Malaria parasite which was negative. The patient was ordered two smears and both were negative. The patient was treated with antibiotics and Flu medicine and Dr. Jain decided, not to continue with Malaria medicine as the smears were negative. The patient responded well to the treatment.
