Dr. Usha Jain removed the thinnest sliver about 4mm in size from the bottom of the foot. The patient was seen after the glass piece in the bottom of the foot for two days and the patient could hardly walk.
Dr. Jain did the x-ray of the foot and could not find the piece of glass but Dr. Jain is experienced in removing the foreign body and thought f there is not enough lead, then the x-ray would not show a glass piece.
Dr. Jain injected the local anesthetic and tactfully removed the glass piece. The patient had immediate relief and could walk without pain.
