A 55 year old patient walked in the clinic for the redness and swelling of the finger around the nail for four days. The patient denied history of trauma, pickig the nails or biting the nails. The patient complaint that the finger was throbbing.

Dr. Jain exomined the patient and his finger was very swollen with the pus pocket. The patient seem to have the bacterial infection. The blood count was done and also the chemistry to rule out any diabetes or liver problems. The x ray was done to make sure that there was no involvement of the bone which was normal.
