A 30 year old white male was seen in our Walk in Medical Center for treatment of smoking cessation. The patient had been smoking for 16 years but decided to quit smoking immediately but was unable to get an appointment. He was able to come to our walk in medical center as there is no appointment needed. The patient was seen by Dr. Usha Jain who explained the risks of smoking such as cancer, stroke, heart attacks etc.
The patient had blood drawn for basic lab tests and was givet a Chantix prescription.
