Urgent Care for Headache – Progesterone Deficiency

A 23 year old patient was seen in our Urgent Care Medical Center in Orlando for recurrent headaches. Dr. Usha Jain evaluated the patient and ordered blood tests including hormone levels. The patient was found to be deficient in progesterone and the patient was treated to make the levels normal. The patient felt better after the treatment.

Progesterone deficiency can cause recurrent headaches. Treating the proper cause of a headache can avoid unnecessary suffering and addiction to the pain medicines.
