Dehydration – Orlando Urgent Care 32819, 32811, 32818

A 66-year-old female was seen in our Urgent Care Walk-in Medical Center by Dr. Usha Jain. She had fever, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea for last 24 hours. The patient felt very weak and dizzy. Dr. Usha Jain examined the patient and ordered blood tests. The patient was also started on IV fluids to hydrate her. The patient felt better within an hour of starting the IV fluids. Patient went home feeling much better and stronger. The patient was also given antibiotics for the intestinal infection.

Patient can get dehydrated from fever,  vomiting and diarrhea. Patient needs to be hydrated to get better and to prevent the complications. Early hydration can prevent a hospital admission.
