A 55 year old patient came to the medical center for possible high blood pressure. The patient did not have any problems physically and the blood pressure was 140/96. The patient is healthy and does not smoke. Dr. Jain examined the patient and did some lab tests. The patient was given Nitric oxide which relaxes the arteries and thereby decreases the blood pressure. Oxygen and nutrients are delivered to the tissues as a result of the free flow of blood. The patient continued nitric oxide and his blood pressure dropped to 130/82 and did not require to take the medicine.
