Shingles Vaccination/Urgent Care/Walk in Medical Center/Orlando

A 60 year old patient was seen in the Walk in clinic for vaccination of the shingles. The patient had chicken pox in the past. Her husband had shingles which was very bad and pain persisted after the rash was gone. The patient was worried about getting the shingles and getting the persistent pain. The shingles vaccine is very helpful  in preventing shingles which can be very debilitating and patient can get post herpetic neuralgia (pain in the area of the rash)
