The patient also had blood test for IgG and IgM for the Varicell virus which is an antibody titer which goes up at the time of acute infection and that can confirm the diagnosis of Chicken Pox.

If the patient is immune then she will have high titer of IgG and not of IgM.

The patient had IgM titer done to confirm Chicken Pox and the result was positive.
