Back Pain/Spasm/Urgent Care/Walk in Clinic/Orlando FL 32819

A 60 year old patient was seen by Dr. Jain in our Urgent Care Walk in Clinic in Orlando with the complaints of back pain for 5 days. The patient remembered reaching for the ladder 5 days ago and then he he had pain 8 hours later. The patient continues to work but his back is painful. The patient had no radiation of the pain to the leg and was worse on moving. Dr. Jain ordered an x ray to rule out fracture. The patient also had blood drawn for CBC and blood chemistry. The patient was given an injection of an anti-inflammatory followed by oral medicine (muscle relaxants and antiinflammatory). The patient was also advised to rest and use the heating pad. The patient responded well and he felt better next day.
